Coco doesn't mind paparazzi's presence?

Courteney Cox’s cute little daughter Coco doesn’t seem to mind the presence of the paparazzi, but mommy doesn’t look too pleased. The cutie gave the paps a cheeky little smile as they hand in hand walked home after Courteney picked up the little cutie from daycare.

Aside from taking care of her daughter, Courteney is spending time helping best friend Jennifer Aniston renovate her new home. According to a source, Courteney’s primary advice: Think bigger! “When the house is finished, Jen will have a huge pool area, more privacy, two extra bedrooms and a killer office-den.” The source added, “The new plans are costing Jen almost $3 million, but she trusts Courteney’s instincts.” $3 million?? Yikes! But since the cost of the actual house was $15 million, I’m sure Jennifer can afford it.

Courteney Cox-Arquette and Lisa Kudrow at P.S. Arts Luncheon

Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox at the 10th annual P.S. ArtsExpress Yourself event in Santa Monica. Kudrow's son, Julien, and Cox-Arquette's daughter, Coco, were also on hand for the celebrity filled event which included a petting zoo, various arts and crafts tables, and a performance by Daniel Powter.

P.S. Arts organizes the annual event to raise funds to restore art education in public schools.

"We always go home with something [my son] Julien makes, like a placemat that we use all the time," said Kudrow. "More importantly, we raise awareness about P.S. Arts to get the arts back in education."

Jennifer Aniston once again

Jennifer Aniston is going to make a second guest appearance on Courteney Cox’s aptly-named FX series, Dirt. Aniston shared a disappointing girl kiss with Cox on the season finale of the show in March. She played the lesbian editor of a tabloid that competes with Dirt, the gossip rag that Courteney Cox’s character runs. The kiss wasn’t all that hot and was more of a friendly goodbye kiss that was turned into something more by the imagination of one of Courteney’s male co-workers.

Now they’re bringing Aniston back for more, and she will have another ratings-raising guest appearance. I bet that there won’t be much action between Aniston and Cox’s characters, but that the show will play up the sexual tension as much as possible:

Jennifer Aniston will reprise her role as Tina Harrod, a tabloid-magazine editor, in her second guest spot on Courteney Cox’s FX show, Dirt, says a friend of Jen’s. No word yet on whether there’ll be an encore of the BFF’s much-fussed-about kissing scene (Jen’s character is gay), but the upcoming episode will include a bigger role for Jen, 38, and more scenes opposite Courteney, 43. “Jen’s blocked off time in December to be available when they need her,” says the friend.

[From Life and Style, print edition, November 19, 2007]

We’ll have to see if Aniston’s scheduled appearance survives the writer’s strike, and it doesn’t sound like that episode has been written yet. The strike is not expected to end by December, but maybe the parties will work it out by then and Aniston will be able to help save her friend’s show for yet another season.

In other Jennifer Aniston news, she is said to be dating Sex and The City hottie Jason Lewis, who dated Rosario Dawson for years and has been linked with Jennifer Esposito and Laura Prepon. She is said to have had a couple of “secret” dates out with Lewis in NY City, and to have a lot in common with him. He is a pretty boy type, just like her ex husband.

They look cute together and it would be nice to see Aniston in a new relationship with someone who wants to commit long term. Lewis seems like the type of guy who is able to go the distance and doesn’t try to act single when he’s in a relationship. He was never afraid to be photographed out with Dawson and seems like the loyal, super-hot boyfriend type who will also go shopping with you and help with the dishes. Pretty much an excellent catch.

Courteney Cox: Sexiest Women

While Esquire named Charlize Theron the "Sexiest Woman Alive", Maxim
recently gave the "Unsexiest Woman Alive" honor to Sarah Jessica Parker.
I dunno about you, but it's a slap in the face!

Now Paris Hilton and Britney Spears? THAT'S unsexy!!

Meanwhile, as far as Round 3 of Sexiest Woman of 2007's
concerned...Katharine McPhee, Jennifer Aniston, Hilary Duff, Courteney
Cox, and Emma Watson are still the top five leaders, but the following
with 2% or less are in trouble:

Lauren Graham
Christina Aguilera
Megan Fox
Amanda Bynes
Jennifer Garner
Angelina Jolie
Jessica Biel
Hayden Panettiere
Drew Barrymore
Alexis Bledel
Charlize Theron

They all need to get their votes up enough to claim a spot in the final
round, and we've got a few weeks to go. So if you STILL haven't voted,
then PLEASE do so by going to
http://vote.sparklit.com/web_poll.spark/105647 , and don't be afraid to
spread the word to various message boards/fan sites; votes can be
picked up that way.

And next update, I'll have the first news on the men's poll coming up in
mid-November.

Courteney & Coco

Dirt is going to be more fun

Sometimes, you just shouldn't take yourself so seriously.

Sadly, though, the folks behind Dirt, an F/X-produced show that begins airing tonight on Bravo, didn't get that memo.

Starring Courteney Cox as magazine editor Lucy Spiller, Dirt is set in the world of celebrity-crazed tabloid magazines.

Ambitious, of course, Spiller will do anything to keep Dirt and sister magazine Now relevant and profitable. She even publishes pictures of dead people. Well, dead famous people, of course.

But this isn't to say that she is without integrity. No sir. During one of the many speeches -- yes, there are many -- she gives staff a refresher course in how to get a story.

"There is actual reporting in what we do," she says, after a staffer suggests they use third-hand info. "Our readers want to know people actually screw. That they actually sleep with hookers. That they lie. No, a friend of a friend is gossip and gossip is what lands us in court."

Oh really, no gossip?

That's funny, considering at one point during the pilot Spiller takes the word of a washed-up actor that a young, hot, drugged-out starlet is pregnant.

There are no doctor's-office photos. No baby bump. Not even signs of late-night trips to Fatburger for a Kingburger with extra-extra pickles. Just one person saying something about another person.

As far as women go, Spiller is Cruella de Ville, but without the warmth. She is driven, ruthless, cold and -- surprise, surprise -- unable to have a normal personal relationship, never mind a simple booty call. The latter she ends with high-voltage flair as she Tasers a guy she thinks is using her for her connections. I guess the post-coital devouring of the mate is so yesterday.

Her only confidant seems to be a determined and demented paparazzo by the name of Don Konkey (Ian Hart). A functioning schizophrenic -- when he is on his meds -- Konkey stops at nothing to get the photo.

It's Konkey's dogged determination, devilish mental breakdowns and noir-like lifestyle that make him the more interesting member of the cast.

But, unfortunately, he's not interesting enough to get us past the other textbook performances of self-involved, publicity-craving celebs and ambitious journalists.

It's too bad, really, that Dirt disappoints, as the idea of a discussion, albeit fictional, about the media's obsession -- or is it the public's? I can never figure that out -- with celebrity is a fitting one. After all, who hasn't weighed in with some opinion or another on the fate of poor, screwed- up Britney or looney La Lohan?

But sadly, here the dialogue of the Matthew Carnahan-created show, which lists Cox and her husband David Arquette as executive producers, is humourless, preachy and, oddly, for the most part lacking in any real insight.

Add to that the fact that Cox is as stiff as a paparazzo's telephoto lens and you've got a show that has missed the joke and is frankly as dull as, well, dirt.

Rift healed

A rift between Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston has been healed by an unlikely mediator - the 'Along Came Polly' star's ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The 'Friends' co-stars reportedly fell out over Cox's failure to visit Aniston on the Oregon set of her upcoming movie 'Management', according to British newspaper The Sun.

However, the Fight Club star heard of the argument and contacted Cox's husband David Arquette to devise a plan to reconcile the long-time pals.

A source says: "He (Pitt) can't bear to think of Jen lonely."

Pitt as mediator

Washington, Nov 29: Hollywood star Brad Pitt is reportedly acted as a mediator between his ex wife actress Jennifer Aniston and her co-star actress Courteney Cox after the two best friends had a falling out.

According to The Sun, the Friends co-stars reportedly had a tiff over Cox's failure to visit Aniston on the Oregon set of her upcoming movie ‘Management’.

Pitt stepped in after he heard of the argument and contacted Cox's husband David Arquette to work out a plan to reunite the long-time pals.

Sources revealed that Pitt couldn’t see Aniston alone.

"He (Pitt) can't bear to think of Jen lonely, " Contactmusic quoted a source as telling. (ANI)

Raising Awareness for EB

Reese Witherspoon, Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Heidi Klum, and Adam Sandler regressed to kindergarten and brought out the markers to raise awareness and funds for EB, a rare and debilitating children’s disease. With their greeting cards, which are on sale at Frederic Fekkai’s Melrose Place salon in a pack of 8 for $20, those infectious smiles can also spread goodwill, as 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
